Asthma & Anaphylaxis Training

This comprehensive course equips participants with the essential knowledge and practical skills to confidently manage asthma and anaphylaxis emergencies in the workplace or community.

Participants will learn to:

• Recognise the signs, symptoms, and triggers of asthma and anaphylaxis

• Develop and implement individual asthma and anaphylaxis management plans

• Administer reliever medication and adrenaline using an autoinjector

• Apply effective first aid responses until medical assistance arrives

• Create risk management and prevention strategies to minimise the likelihood of incidents

Successful completion of this nationally recognised training enables individuals and workplace first aiders to provide care for adults and children diagnosed with asthma or at risk of anaphylaxis.

Please note: Some industries, such as childcare, education, and other related sectors, may require additional training to meet specific regulatory requirements.
